Amla 80 Spring 2025 Portfolio

My most challenging moment was time management to complete assignments on time. Although Miss Lee was very kind to grade my submission late, I still feel very guilty doing so. I have 4 classes total with lots of homework I have to do, so I only have time to finish assignments for this class during the weekends. Even though I was always late on submission, I always tried to complete it. And on big assignments such as Paper 1, 2 or 3 I always submit them on time because I know I should spend most of my time working on them. As for my second biggest challenge it was connecting my paragraph points with sources. I don’t have lots of difficulties with what I want to write down onto the paper but I find it very hard to find the sources to connect with it. But as I was giving up, I always looked back onto the sources and at the last moments, they all came to me and I was able to incorporate those sources into my writing.  Now i perceived English writing as normal everyday writing as if I w...

 First Draft Final Draft During the process of the First and Final Draft, I had trouble balancing my supporting details (sources) and the points that I wanted to argue about. As for the Final Draft, I managed to balance the points and supporting but it didn't really fit into the main ideas that I was arguing about. From writing this paper, I have learned to balance my main point with supporting details and now I will have to review carefully if my points are conflicting with the main idea of the paper.

  First Draft Final Draft During the process of writing the First and Final Draft, we have learned about Introduction and Conclusion technique to help complete a structure of the essay. I was struggling at using conclusion technique and had trouble quoting or citating the sources. With feedback from Miss Lee I was able to learn from my mistakes, and improved upon what I was lacking while also applying those technique that i learned to help me write paper 3.

 First Draft  Final Draft During the process between the First and Final draft, I have learned how to write essay in MLA format and how to do citation with a proper citation page. This has helped me a lot with writing future essay and a lot of my classes that involved writing in MLA format.
